1st Camping Trip

For Jason's birthday, we took the boys camping for the first time...it was my 1st camping trip too! We went to a small watercraft festival on St. Michaels. There were tons of other campers and lots of great activities for the kids. Despite the VERY early mornings (thanks to Gavin waking us all up...and other campers probably too), we had a great time.

The boys built wooden boats and raced them in a pond. Colby helped build a boat out of milk and oj 1/2 gallon containers...and it floated! They also went on a scavenger hunt around the grounds, and their team won!

Repelling

Jason taught the boys how to repel. They had a great time!

End of summer

We spent the last summer weekend at the pool. Swimming with friends and a movie night! We're sad to see this summer end, but we had lots of fun.

Colby is now a fish in the water! He can swim from one end to the other, dive in the deep end (not all of his dives are belly flops), and he loves to do cannonballs!

Logan loves going to the pool and swimming with his brothers. He's gained a lot more confidence this year.

Gavin enjoyed his first summer at the pool. He especially likes the baby pool and climbing on the frog fountain. He also loves sitting on the edge of the big pool and sliding in! He squeals with delight! :)

Now, it's time for school!

Colby's First day of Kindergarten

It's hard to believe it!

Colby is now a Kindergartener! Say what!?! I can't believe this day has come.

I'm excited and nervous for him. I know he'll love it, have lots of fun, meet new friends and learn a lot...but we'll miss him being at home.

1st sleepover

Colby had his first sleepover last night at his friend, Sebastian's house.

Kindergarten Orientation

We had Kindergarten orientation last night. Colby's so excited to start school! We met his Principal and teacher, Mrs. McGowan. She's very sweet and well organized. We're looking forward to a great year!

Gavin & Logan's Birthday Party

Gavin is ONE! Wow! and Logan is turing 3. So, we combined the family birthday party this year. Didn't think they'd mind too much :) We had a Jake & the Neverland Pirates theme. The boys really love pirates these days!

I made a cake for each. Logan wanted chocolate cake, and I made Gavin a banana cake for his first taste of cake!

I can't believe my baby is ONE!!

He's taking his first little steps, loves to go outside, and tries so hard to keep up with his big brothers!

We celebrated Logan's birthday too with family at our house I made Jake and the Neverland pirates themed cakes.

Beach week 2013

We spent a week at Rehoboth Beach. We found a new-to-us beach that was much quieter and relaxing.

Gavin had his first taste if ice cream (Kohr frozen custard) and Logan rose his first roller coaster ride. Colby was aug a great big brother. He rode the whole time with his arm around Logan. Love these two!!

Logan is 3!

We went to Rehoboth for Logan's birthday. I took him to a little bakery where he got to decorate his own cupcake. He took his time putting his decorations on very carefully. Them he just ate a couple bites and wanted a lollipop instead!

My lil guy is super sweet and melts my heart with his smile.

Sailing

We spent our first week send on the sailboat. All of us spent the night and actually slept pretty well.

4th of July 2013

We enjoyed the 4th with a neighborhood bike parade and a fun day at the pool and watching fireworks on the boat.

Trouble!

Gavin at 10 months has climbed out of his high chair and walker, climber ontop of our lego table and the outside of the stairwell. He's a troublemaker for sure :)

End of Tball

Colby had his last Tball game. Afterwards, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings and he got his trophy!

He did great! Colby can hit the ball when pitched to, runs the bases at top speed and fields and throws the ball with a strong arm and great accuracy. Best of all, he loves it!

Father's Day weekend

We spent Father's Day weekend on the boat and in the pool.

Preschool graduation

Colby's school had a graduatin ceremony at Quiet Waters park. The kids all sang songs and got their diplomas.

Rehoboth weekend in June

We took our first trip to Rehoboth for the season. The boys had a great time. Gavin's first trip to the beach was fun but challenging. He ate more sand than I thought he would, but he didn't seem to care. Blech!


Colby was really excited that he is finally tall enough to ride the bumper cars!!
